At this tier we build hinged lids and telescoping lift-off lids, finished with a ribbon pull where the design calls for one. The hinge is the part that has to last, so it's engineered to hold its angle through years of opening without loosening.

We don't offer magnetic closures or drawer boxes on this line. Those formats sit in our other rigid box ranges if you need them.

Most house programmes run as a system: the rigid box, a suede pouch, a carrier bag and a wallet for the certificate or papers. Each layer does a different job. The pouch travels with the piece, the box stores it and the papers prove what it is.

The certificate can sit in its own wallet or in a pocket inside the lid. We match colour and finish across every part so they read as one set.

The shell is 2mm rigid board, or recycled chipboard if you want recycled content on record, wrapped in art paper or a specialty stock. Inside, a fitted cradle is lined in velvet or silk.

Lining colour follows the metal. White or pale grey suits diamonds and platinum, black suits yellow gold and coloured stones, and navy or burgundy fits heritage collections. We'd always sample the lining against a real piece before the run.

Quietly, usually as a debossed or foil-stamped mark on the lid and a small one inside. Heavy branding makes an expensive box read like advertising.

For the wrap we can use soft-touch lamination, linen or other specialty papers, with CMYK plus Pantone printing where colour has to match your house standard exactly. Spot UV works as a subtle pattern on a matte wrap. Fine piping, stitching and embossed textures are the details experienced buyers notice.

They can, which is why many houses fix a specific wrap colour, emboss pattern and stitch detail and keep them identical on every run. Experts and resale buyers check these details, and a copy rarely gets all of them right at once.

We work to your written standard and hold it between orders. Complete sets with the original box and papers also tend to fetch more at resale, so building the box to last pays off for the owner as well.

From the piece outward, since the cradle is cut to the jewellery and the box is built around the cradle. There's no stock size at this tier. Each house specifies its own box, pouch and bag dimensions.

Send us the piece, or exact measurements with the clasp closed, and we'll cut a trial cradle before the dieline is fixed. The fit between piece and cradle is close enough that the jewellery doesn't move when the box is tipped.

The minimum on this line is 500 units per design. That applies to the box itself, and pouches, bags and certificate wallets are quoted alongside it so the set arrives together.

A brand with several collections often keeps one exterior across all of them and changes only the cradle, so the boxes look consistent in a customer's drawer. Runs go up to 100,000 pieces.

After you approve the sample and final proof, the run takes 7 to 10 business days. If a launch can't move, rush production is 5 to 7 business days.

At this level we'd treat the sample as essential. It takes 5 to 7 business days and lets you check the hinge action, the wrap colour and the cradle fit in hand. Whatever you pay for it is credited to the production order.
