kraft Jewelry Boxes
Unbleached board in a category that usually shouts, using restraint as the positioning.
Kraft jewellery packaging signals artisan and sustainable rather than luxury. The material does the positioning, so the print stays minimal.

Sizing & dieline.
We cut kraft Jewelry Boxes to a dieline built around your product instead of pulling a stock size off the shelf. Send us the length, width and height of the item (or the item itself) and we return a measured dieline, free, before you commit to anything.
Length, width and height of the item itself, at its widest points. Measure the product, not the box you happen to use today.
Allow 2–4 mm on each axis for a snug fit, and more if you are adding foam, a pillow insert or tissue.
We quote as Length × Width × Height. Tell us whether you are working in millimetres or inches and we match it.
✦ Not sure of your size? Send us the product and we measure it and build the dieline.
Pricing & minimums.
We price kraft Jewelry Boxes per specification rather than from a fixed list, because the same build in two different finishes can land at very different numbers. Below is what actually moves the price, so you can shape the spec before you request a quote.
The single biggest lever. Unit cost falls sharply as volume rises, because setup and tooling spread across more pieces.
Board weight and stock choice change both the raw material cost and the shipping weight of the finished run.
Foil, spot UV, embossing and soft-touch each add a pass on press. One or two lift the box; five compound the cost.
Full-bleed print inside and out costs more than a one-sided design on natural stock.
Foam, moulded pulp, velvet pillows, magnets and ribbon are priced per piece on top of the box itself.
Standard production is the base rate. Rush moves you up the production queue and carries a surcharge.

Everything you need to know about kraft Jewelry Boxes.
It's a two-piece kraft box, a base and a lift-off lid, with a layer of cotton fill inside to cushion the piece. Makers and market sellers have used it for decades because it protects well and costs very little per unit.
Earrings on a card, rings and small pendants sit straight on the cotton. The format is simple enough that the brand comes from the stamp or sticker you put on the lid.
They can, because loose cotton fibres wrap around fine links and clasps. We fix that with a tissue layer over the cotton, which keeps the cushioning but gives the chain a smooth surface to lie on.
For chain-heavy ranges you can also swap the cotton for a flat pad or a velvet or satin insert. We'd keep plain cotton for rings and studs and use tissue over cotton for anything with a chain.
One ink colour, a stamp or a sticker seal on the lid is usually enough, since the brown board does most of the talking. Dark inks like black, navy or deep green read well on kraft. Light colours and fine type tend to sink into the fibre.
Hot foil is available, but on unbleached board we think a blind emboss or a single printed mark looks more at home. Many makers start with stickers and move to printed lids once volume grows.
Kraft is unbleached, so the shade of the fibre shifts a little from batch to batch. One run might come out warmer or slightly darker than the last, and any ink printed on it follows the board underneath.
If a close match between reorders matters, send us a box from your first run and we'll compare the new board against it before printing. Most kraft buyers accept the variation, because it's part of why the material looks natural.
Common sizes run from 2 × 2 × 1 in for a ring or pair of studs up to 8 × 5 × 1.5 in for a necklace laid flat. In between sit squares for bangles and rectangles for bracelets and pendants.
Most makers pick two or three sizes from one family so the lids match across the range. Give us the largest piece you sell and we'll suggest where the steps should fall.
The kraft shell can, and it goes in with ordinary paper and card recycling. Recycled-content grades are available if you want the fibre story on the box as well.
The cotton fill should come out first, so a short line on the lid or card telling customers is a good idea. A tissue layer is paper and can stay with the box. Heavy lamination makes board harder to recycle, which is another reason to keep the finish plain.
Kraft jewelry boxes have a 500-unit minimum with us. For a maker brand that's a reasonable first stock, and the plain kraft means the same box works across new collections without reprinting.
A good way to stretch it is to order the box printed with your mark and change the sticker seal or tag each season. Bigger runs are quoted as you grow, all the way to 100,000.
Our standard production window for this style is 7 to 10 business days from artwork approval. Rush production takes 5 to 7 business days for craft fairs and markets with a fixed date.
Samples take 5 to 7 business days and show you how your ink sits on the actual board, which is the main unknown with kraft. The sample charge is deducted from your production order.
