The 16oz pail is 3.5 × 3 × 3.75 in and the 26oz is 4 × 3.5 × 4.5 in. Main portions usually go in 26oz or 32oz, and a smaller size covers sides and lighter dishes.

Venting helps once a delivery runs past about 20 minutes, though it matters less here than on rice. Noodles hold heat and give off steam the whole time, and a modest perforation lets some out before it condenses on the lid.
