Custom Paper Soup Bowls.

A PE or PLA lining on the inside face, because bare board fails within minutes under hot liquid. We coat the outside too, since spills and condensation hit that face during service and the outer coating keeps the bowl stiff when it is wet. Twenty minutes of hot soup is the design case.

The seam is bonded through the lining so there is no raw board edge inside the bowl.

The rolled rim is the lid's sealing surface, and an uneven roll is the usual reason a lid leaks in a bag. We form it evenly all the way round so a PP locking lid seats against it, since a friction fit alone is not enough on hot liquid. For hot soup the lid also carries a small vent, because steam pressure will otherwise lift even a locked lid.

Cold soups need no vent, and either way the bowl should be carried upright.

If the soup travels, yes. The double wall traps an insulating air gap so a very hot bowl can be held comfortably without a sleeve. A single wall works at the counter where the bowl goes straight onto a tray, and a heat warning print is worth adding on single wall stock.

Double wall costs more per unit but removes the separate sleeve from the line.

A full CMYK wrap around the bowl is the most requested finish, with matte as the premium tier for soup-led brands. Kraft outer suits homemade positioning, and we match Pantone spot colours across reprints. An interior fill line is a practical addition: it helps staff portion consistently and leave headroom under the lid.

Heat warning print is available for single wall bowls.

8, 12, 16 and 32oz, from a side portion through to a sharing size. The 8oz bowl is 3.8 inches across at the rim, the 12oz is 4.3 inches and the 16oz is 4.5 inches. Diameter is measured at the rolled rim, which is what the lid has to match.

Choose the size by the fill you actually serve, allowing headroom so the lid does not touch the soup.

500 bowls is where an order starts. The bigger the order, the lower the price of each bowl, and a single order can run to 100,000 for a multi-site soup brand. Lids are quoted as a matched set with the bowls. Artwork and print setup are free.

7 to 10 business days is the standard turnaround after you approve the print proof. Rush production is available at 5 to 7 business days. Samples take 5 to 7 business days and the fee is refunded against your bulk order, so you can fill one with soup at serving temperature and test the lid before committing.

Shipping covers the whole USA.

Yes, we can line the bowl with PLA instead of PE for operators with commercial composting. PLA handles hot soup at serving temperature and gives the same soak-through protection, and the facility caveat is the honest part: it needs an industrial compost stream to break down. The PP locking lid is a separate recyclable item.

Where composting is not in place, the PE bowl is the more practical choice.
