Board weight and stock choice change both the raw material cost and the shipping weight of the finished run.

Finishing

Foil, spot UV, embossing and soft-touch each add a pass on press. One or two lift the box; five compound the cost.

Full-bleed print inside and out costs more than a one-sided design on natural stock.

Inserts and hardware

Foam, moulded pulp, velvet pillows, magnets and ribbon are priced per piece on top of the box itself.

Everything you need to know about Custom Paper Spoon & Forks.

Yes, and the detail that matters is the coating's behaviour when cold, not the paper itself.

Some moisture-resistant treatments go brittle at freezer temperature and crack when the spoon is flexed against hard ice cream. We specify freezer-stable coatings for this application so the spoon stays flexible.

The shape differs too. An ice cream spoon is short, flat and broad — designed to scrape a shallow tub rather than scoop from depth. A standard soup spoon shape is the wrong tool for a tub and customers find it awkward.

If you serve both scooped ice cream in cups and packed tubs, they may want different spoons; tell us how it is served and we will specify accordingly.
