We cut the dieline to your fill weight so the pack is not carrying empty headspace.

Close to essential, since pasta is bought by shape. A clear PET panel shows the shape and the bronze-die surface texture that speciality buyers look for. We can cut the aperture to echo the pasta shape itself, which is a cheap way to make the pack distinctive.

A paper-based window in glassine or compostable film keeps the whole pack in one recycling stream.

Yes, and the recycled content can go very high because pasta is inert and there is no direct-contact concern. There is no food-safety limit on the recycled percentage here, unlike fatty or wet foods. Folding boxboard is the standard stock where print quality matters most.

Uncoated kraft is the artisan choice, and skipping lamination altogether gives the most recyclable pack.

Full CMYK for mainstream grocery, matte lamination for premium ranges, and uncoated natural board for artisan positioning. A provenance panel with room for region, wheat variety and drying method is worth planning in, since speciality buyers read it. The shaped window aperture doubles as a design element.

Common sizes are 6 by 4 by 2.5 inches and 8 by 5 by 3 inches, measured length, width and depth. The tall narrow profile maximises the facing, so the depth is kept small relative to height. Choose by fill weight and shape, since long pasta needs the height and short shapes need the depth.

The uncoated board carton is fully recyclable, and it is the most recyclable option we offer. A PET window has to be separated, so choose a glassine or compostable film window if a single-stream pack matters to you. High recycled content board keeps the fibre loop going in both directions.

We do not recommend windows on very long shelf-life claims, since the film ages before the board does.
