Customized Ripple Wall Cups
A fluted outer wall traps air — insulation without a second cup.
The ripple layer holds an air gap that keeps heat in and hands comfortable, which removes the need for a separate sleeve at the counter.

Sizing & dieline.
Every Customized Ripple Wall Cups is wound and cut to your product — not pulled off a shelf. Send us the diameter and height of the item (or the item itself) and we return a measured spec, free, before you commit to anything.
A cylinder needs two figures, not three: the diameter across its widest point, and the height. Measure the item itself, not the pack you happen to use today.
Allow 2–3 mm on the diameter so the product drops in without binding, and a few millimetres of headroom if a lid, pillow or tissue sits on top.
We quote round formats as Diameter × Height. Tell us whether you are working in millimetres or inches and we match it.
✦ Not sure of your size? Send us the product — we measure it and build the dieline.
Pricing & minimums.
Customized Ripple Wall Cups is priced per specification rather than from a fixed list — the same box in two different finishes can land at very different numbers. Below is what actually moves the price, so you can shape the spec before you request a quote.
The single biggest lever. Unit cost falls sharply as volume rises, because setup and tooling spread across more pieces.
Board weight and stock choice change both the raw material cost and the shipping weight of the finished run.
Foil, spot UV, embossing and soft-touch each add a pass on press. One or two lift the box; five compound the cost.
Full-bleed print inside and out costs more than a one-sided design on natural stock.
Foam, moulded pulp, velvet pillows, magnets and ribbon are priced per piece on top of the box itself.
Standard production is the base rate. Rush moves you up the production queue and carries a surcharge.

Questions, answered.
Everything you need to know about Customized Ripple Wall Cups.
The outer layer. A double wall cup has a second smooth ply of board with a sealed air gap behind it. A ripple wall cup has a fluted outer ply — corrugated in miniature — creating a series of air channels instead of one cavity.
Insulation is broadly similar. A smooth double wall often holds heat very slightly longer, but not by a margin a customer would notice.
Grip is where ripple wins. The ridges give real purchase, especially with wet hands.
Print is where double wall wins. A flat surface takes fine detail and photographic artwork; flutes break both up.
Choose ripple for grip and a craft look, smooth double wall for print quality and a cleaner finish.
You can, but we would usually advise against it, and it is worth understanding why before you commit artwork.
The outer surface is fluted, so it is physically ridged rather than flat. Ink lands on the peaks and in the valleys differently, which breaks up anything relying on fine, continuous detail — photographic gradients, thin rules, small type.
What works well: bold logos, solid colour blocks, simple line marks, large type. Keep type at roughly 8pt or above.
If your brand identity depends on a photographic image or delicate detail, a smooth double wall cup is the right choice. We would rather tell you that than print something that arrives looking muddy.
